We are at the forefront of live streaming mobile entertainment and are looking for a designer to shepherd our product and marketing vision into reality.  Our vision is to create quick, easy to consume interactive shows for an audience that doesn’t have time or desire to sit through an entire TV show

We are looking for a passionate, fun experienced art leader to guide the design direction for a live product with opportunities to establish and grow your team. As the Art Director, you will be involved in the full life-cycle of design, generating inspiring and interactive visuals for new features, live broadcast and gameplay in a highly agile and iterative design and release process. You will be the main hub for collaboration and partnership with engineers and product managers to ensure ideas come to fruition through the formulation of a cohesive design language and product user interface and experience.

Responsibilities

• Collaborating with the Art Lead, Product Managers, and Engineers to design new features for the live game, Ripkord.tv.

Focus primarily on great user interaction and the player’s journey, including overall art direction.

• Advocate for and execute user-centered design/lean UX process for interaction design throughout the product development process

• Gathering product, technical, and user requirements to design features that can work seamlessly with existing systems, meeting business objectives, and creating delightful experiences for the audience.
• Craft design specifications and design standards in the form of flow diagrams, wireframes and, as required, prototypes, ensuring all required components and assets are accounted for and consistent, edge cases are identified and addressed

• Animating examples of motion design and particle effects to help plan and create final in-game animations
• Actively participate and assist implementation and continue design work as needed through release and beyond

• Incorporate usability testing feedback

• Able to have the foresight to what the end user “really” needs

What do you need?

• Advocate for and execute user-centered design/lean UX process for interaction design throughout the product development process

• Your portfolio should show a clear understanding of Game UX design principles as it relates to navigation, conveying information, and game play.
